Perth Airport is Ideally positioned in the heart of Scotland, located 4 miles north-east of Perth giving good access to the motorway network providing a quick route to the business centres of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. It is also ideally located for the region's tourist attractions such as Gleneagles, St. Andrews and the Highlands.

The Airport has an enviable position in the Perthshire countryside, away from the congested airspace of the central belt. There are three runways, two of which are tarmac, and one grass. The primary runway has a full airfield lighting system and a VOR.

Originally opened in 1936, Perth Airport now provides a thriving base for a number of general aviation operators, which include four flying schools, a maintenance organisation and an aircraft engineering training college. Hangerage is available as well as JET A1 and Avgas. The site can boast a number of non aviation businesses, a bar, restaurant, café and on site hotel.

Perth Airport supports a variety of Flying Schools providing training for Aeroplanes, Helicopters, Microlight, and Gyrocopters. These schools offer trial flights as an introduction to aviation including pre-flight briefing and a flight in the local area with YOU at the controls under the guidance of an approved flying instructor.
